Hound Solo was born from a simple belief: that every dog, no matter how reactive, nervous, recovering or misunderstood, deserves a safe and supportive environment where they can still enjoy their walks, build confidence and experience the stimulation they need to thrive. That’s why we don’t offer a one-size-fits-all service. We deliver something much more meaningful – a walk built entirely around your dog.

Over the years I’ve seen too many dogs marched around in large packs by overstretched walkers, and while that might work for some, it can overwhelm many others and even lead to long-term behavioural problems. I wanted to offer something different – something that truly puts the individual dog first.

With decades of hands-on experience working with dogs of every size, temperament, and background, I’ve learned that success comes from listening to them – understanding their language, their instincts, and their individual needs. That’s why Hound Solo is built entirely around 1-to-1 walks, tailored stimulation, and a deep respect for each dog’s unique personality.

I’ve made it my mission to build a service rooted in trust, skill, and real-world expertise. Every member of my team is hand-selected from thousands of applicants – chosen not just for their passion, but for their real-life experience handling their own breeds and working within the animal industry. They are DBS-checked, trained in canine first aid, and united by the same dedication to quality and safety that drives everything we do.
