Services

Every dog is unique – from their personality and energy levels to the way they interact with the world. One thing they all share, however, is a love of routine.

At Hound Solo, we set out to create a dog-walking service designed entirely around the individual dog. Each walk is tailored to your dog’s specific needs and preferences, with options to include mental stimulation games, socialisation with humans or other dogs, leash-skills practice, recall strengthening, and more – always delivered as a dedicated 1-to-1 experience.

We operate across multiple locations in South London and take pride in providing a highly personalised, consistent service. Before joining our pack, every new client goes through a thorough onboarding process to ensure we fully understand your dog’s personality, needs, and routine.

Please ensure your dog is fully up to date with their vaccinations before booking.

Below, you’ll find detailed information about each of the services we offer.

Prior to walking your dog you will have given me an emergency contact sheet. To date we are proudly incident free, but in the event of an emergency we will notify you immediately and your dog will be taken to your named vet (or the nearest one if necessary). Some of our walkers have also passed a Canine First Aid course that conforms to the latest RECOVER guidelines for veterinary CPR and it is something we couldn’t recommend strongly enough for any dog owner.

No (but you can be). By the time we get to that stage you will have given us keys, shown us how to securely lock your property and shown us where your dog walking equipment is, where towels will be left out, and most importantly where the doggy treat jar is.

Yes … but it will likely be an on-lead road walk unless we can find a secluded green area well away from any off-lead males.

Yes …  but we will consider each dog individually.

We will only walk your dog off-lead if you have ticked the ‘off-lead consent box’ and we are confident that your dog has good recall. Otherwise, your dog will be walked on a long lead (12m).

We try to be as accommodating as possible but it is dependent on our current schedule. If you can give us windows rather than specific time it helps us greatly. Send us a message via the contact page and we can have a chat.

Yes … we operate in all weather conditions throughout the year. However, if it is severe or dangerous (or you have a fair weather pooch) we will notify you and go for a drop in visit instead.

If your plans change and you need to cancel a booking that’s not a problem. There will be a fee if it is within 48 hours of the booked service.
